systems; honored for GIS satellite data analysis of effects on the Marsh Arabs of 1990s ecological destruction:

 “A Spatiotemporal Analysis of Man-Made Ecocide: Saddam Hussein’s Reduction of the Southern Iraqi Marshes”

Smithsonian Undergraduate Ingenuity Award Nominee, celebrating innovative undergraduate projects that

 intersect with Smithsonian initiatives; proposed creation of 3D models of national historic sites to support federal preservation
